Safe Surgeries

We are proud to be a safe surgery for everyone in our community, and pledge to ensure that everyone in our community receives the quality healthcare they are entitled to.

We take steps to ensure that everyone in our community may fulfill their entitlement to quality healthcare. We ensure that our practice offers a welcoming space for everyone who seeks to use our services and ensure patient registration policies do not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, immigration status or any other characteristic. Supported by the Safe Surgeries initiative, we ensure that our staff understand the specific barriers faced by migrants in vulnerable circumstances and that they are empowered to mitigate these barriers, where possible. We ensure that a lack of identification or proof of address, immigration status or language do not prevent patient registration.

Don’t have documents? Don’t worry, please speak to a member of staff who can help and support you with the process of registration. You can learn more at Doctors of the World UK or through this attached document.

Please note:  The eConsult service is only available from Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm.*

*Excluding Bank Holidays.

Important - eConsult times for the Easter period are as follows:

Easter Switch off: Thursday, 28 March – 18:30
Easter Switch on: Tuesday, 2 April – 08:00

eConsult Administration Requests - Important

Please note that administration requests submitted via eConsult will have different timelines than that of clinical/medical requests, depending on the type of eConsult submitted.  For example, Med3/Sick Certificates may take up to 5 working days to process, whereas requests for letters, completed forms, medical records, or other such documentation may take longer depending on the information required.  Please bear this in mind when using eConsult.

For clinical or medical requests, you should expect to receive a response within 72 hours as normal.
